1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Cordelia ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Cordelia provides free AP® exam preparation and practice tools for educational purposes. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

4. Use of Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, servers, or networks
• Interfere with, disrupt, or impose unreasonable burdens on the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without permission
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for extended periods.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and all content, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, questions, explanations, software, and design, are owned by Cordelia and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not permit you to:

• Download or copy content except as necessary for Service use
• Distribute, publish, or share content with third parties
• Use content for commercial purposes without written permission
• Create derivative works based on the Service or its content

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Warranties that the Service will improve your exam scores or performance

We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your requirements or that practice on the Service will result in any particular exam performance.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORDELIA, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your access to or inability to access the Service
• Damages resulting from errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in content
• Personal injury or property damage related to your use of the Service
• Unauthorized access to your account or data
• Interruption or cessation of the Service

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cordelia and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Any content you submit or transmit through the Service
• Your use or misuse of the Service

10. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (e.g., feedback, suggestions). However, by submitting content, you grant Cordelia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for purposes of operating and improving the Service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, conducted in California. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Cordelia regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
